The GT Xpress 101

A few nights ago I couldn’t fall asleep (this happens a lot). I was flipping through channels and came across the infomercial for the GT Xpress 101. I usually don’t watch infomercials but I had seen this infomercial before; it’s very addicting. I can’t seem to stop watching it. How sad for me. Ha Ha.

I’m not joking…I thought about purchasing the GT Xpress. I really like the fact that it makes small portions. I even thought about purchasing one for my brother. Like any good consumer, I try to read consumer reviews before I buy something. I found tons of bad reviews online about the GT Xpress… the enamel chipping off, not heating up properly, etc… Does anyone have the GT Xpress? Do you like it? Do you use it? Are you judging me? :)

  2. I've never heard of this before. It looks good and I like the fact that it makes portion controlled food. It sounds like there are some issues with the product though. Bummer!

  7. Oh my gosh Jill!!! I LOVE watching the infomercial on this thing!! I always make Joe watch it, too. I went to order it one night but they said on the phone that I would have to pay shipping for the "free" second GT xpress and it was like $40!!!!! So, I didn't get it. I am sure it will be out in stores eventually!

  8. DEFINITELY not judging you :)

I don't know anything about it, but it sounds great. I will say (from my experience) that people tend to use these things for a little bit, and then they just end up in the back of a cabinet someplace.

Or maybe that's just what I do with things like this.

  9. Hahah, how else are you supposed to find out about new products that will probably end up gathering dust in the top of your cupboard unless you watch infomercials. I've bought all sorts off the back of them so no judgement here - I can't tell you anything about this product but if the online reviews are bad I'd try looking for something similar that does the same job but better.

  10. I am such a fool for infomercials! Everything ALWAYS looks so good!
Before you purchase and pay shipping, Bed,Bath & Beyond carries a lot of the "As seen on TV" items and you may be able to return it if it isn't worth the $$!
    Good luck!

He has used it every day for at least a few months with no problems..he makes omelets in it every morning! I bet my mom got it at bed bath and beyond...I can ask..if so, they have 20% off coupons!

  13. Haha - I always love watching infomercials! They get me every time, but I'm too afraid to buy anything. The one thing we do have is the Magic Bullet, and I LOVE it. If you get the GT Xpress 101, you'll have to let us know how it works.

  17. One small piece of advise: Never watch infomercials while drinking. There's no telling what will end up on your doorstep in 6 ot 8 weeks.

  18. I totally bought a cricut expression machine off of a infomercial at like 3 AM - so pathetic but I have enjoyed using it!!!

This looks really cool though - is there a money back guarantee on it??

PS - I tagged you - head over when you can!

  19. I am such a sucker when I watch infomercials! Luckily, my husband can spot all the ways they are making their product look better by doing dirty tricks.
