Lisa, Angela, Danielle, Carrie~ That's a Creative Title, Huh?

Lisa~

Thursday I had the honor of meeting Lisa from Osborn Odds 'N Ends and Little Bits of Lindy. I have been reading her blogs for the longest time. I've always looked up to Lisa and admired her. She is just as sweet and wonderful in person as she is in blogland. Lisa met Danielle and me at the Guenther House for brunch.

Lisa brought Danielle and me gifts... so sweet! I love the little Christmas sign and the koozies!Thank you so much, Lisa.

Angela~

Y'all know Angela from Sweet Tea Diaries, right? LOVE her! If you don't know Angela, you must check out her blog. She's one of the nicest people I've ever met and she just won an award for employee of the year at her company. Angela sent me a belated birthday gift last week. I love, love, love it. Thank you, Angela!

Super Cute Barbie Note Cards

The Cutest Frame Ever

Danielle~

Danielle is visiting San Antonio this weekend. She brought me the cutest Christmas ornament! She purchased it in Chicago and I adore it. Thank you, Danielle! Check out her blog for a few weekend photos.

Carrie~

My friend Carrie has started a business, Scarlet Threads. Carrie and her husband Jacob live in China and volunteer at New Day Foster Home. The vision of Scarlet Threads is so touching, "No matter what country we call home, as women we care about the same things -- our children and our families. When you purchase a Scarlet Threads product, you become intricately connected to a woman half a world away. You give her the chance to provide for her family in a safe and dignified way, and you make our vision a reality. You are tied, with a scarlet red thread, to a woman just like you."

Carrie generously gifted me with one of the aprons sold at Scarlet Threads. I love it... I love where it came from and the story behind the apron. Carrie, thank you!

Danielle modeling the apron but being very difficult about it.

What a fun weekend of {gifts}!!!

I, too, love Lisa :) She is so sweet! I also love the ornament Danielle got you - CHICAGO! It kinda goes with your whole city-girl theme...

I have a scarlet threads apron on my Christmas list!

I was a pain about modeling the apron. If we had been baking our cheesecakes while listening to Christmas music I probably would have been a little better.

Now hurry up so we can watch the Kardashians and the Holiday starring Cameron Diaz!

That is so fun that you got to meet up with another one of your blog friends. I love the adorable sign and koozies that Lisa brought for you. That was also so sweet of Angela to send you those cards and that pretty picture frame for your birthday. She is so thoughtful.

That’s great that Danielle came to visit and the ornament she brought for you is really nice. I also love the idea behind Scarlett Threads. I went on the site and I really like the Molly apron. That is wonderful that the proceeds go to such a worthy cause.

It sounds like a lovely weekend :)

Did you know that I collect retro Barbies? Those Barbie cards really remind me of my vintage Barbie collection. They are too sweet. Happy you had a wonderful visit with your friend. San Antonio is so beautiful this time of year.

I had so much fun meeting you, Jill! You are a doll and I can't wait to hang out again. It is obvious you are well loved and it is absolutely NO wonder.

I have those note cards, too. I love them and actually thought of you when I bought them. Glad you have a set.
