Is it just me or January a boring month? Next week I’m going back to work and I’m actually looking forward to it. I’ve worked from home a little but I haven't been in the field since November 20th. I’ve been busy and entertained until this week. I'm running out of stuff to do or not interesed in the last few items on my "to do" list.
My friend Gigi at Guitars and Pralines awarded me with The Chic award. Thank you, Gigi for my first award of 2010. The rules are to pass this award to someone you admire. I’m going to pass The Chic award to my friend Melissa at Create The Life You Love. Melissa has a heart of gold and she’s extremely talented. Awhh...such a cute photo over at "Nautical by Nature"... you were such a cute little girl!! My lil' bro had the same sailor outfit as your brother... and my uncle was in the Navy in SanDiego and sent us a sailor hat, so I used to love dressing him up in his little sailor outfits. He was such a trooper! :)
And so sweet of you to give a shout out to Melissa...she is so deserving. She has such a 'givers' heart, and it's wonderful to see her blessed in return!

I know what you mean sister, winter in general is boring! It's so long, cold, and dreadful, and I'm sorry but winter sports just don't cut it for me. I've been trying to rack my brain thinking of ways to fight the borderline depression that these long winter months bring, and I'm thinking keeping myself super busy will do? Moving to a sunny, tropical beach for three or four months just isn't in my budget, maybe next year?
