Reva Flats

I love my Tory Burch Reva Flats but I have a hard time keeping them on. When I walk the back slips off ALL the time. I was leaving my house this morning with my hands full they slipped off as I was walking down the stairs; I almost fell. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

I don't have those particular flats, but I do have some flats that slip off.

There are these sticky pad type things (real specific aren't I?) that you can buy that go on the part of your shoe where your heel touches it. It does a pretty good job of keeping my shoes on and you can't see it when you are wearing the shoes.

I went to a shoe store and mentioned that my flats keep slipping off and they gave me some. So I'd go to a department shoe store and ask them.

Did any of that make sense? Hee hee

Ugg that has got to be so annoying. They are so cute! Maybe you could get some insole things to make them comfier and hopefully they'd make them fit better and not slip!

I would love to get a pair of Revas. They're so classic! That is scary that they slip off though. I have a pair of flats that I have the same problem with and almost trip each time. I think they're just a little too big for me.

I have the Ann Taylor ones that are quite similar, and I haven't had a problem with them..get some of that (i can't believe I just forget the name) it's "skin" something at a shoe store and you can put them at the back to help with that.

Happens to me too!!! Sometimes I find myself stepping on the back instead of having them go around my ankles.

Still a huge fan of flats tho!!

I love your flats. I'm sorry about them slipping off. That's frustrating.

These are some of my favorite shoes. They do however stretch out. When i bought mine they felt a little on the tight side, but the next size up was way too big. I wanted them so badly that I decided to just buy the slightly snug fitting ones since they are leather. After wearing them in, they now fit perfectly. Now I know this story is not at all helpful, because you probably don't want to go out and buy a whole new pair in the next size down (unless you got them at Nordstroms & can exchange them). You could however buy the little foot pads that go under your feet and take up a little space to the make them fit more snugly.

Had to comment again. I just laughed out loud at your comment! That is a great idea and my car is old, so I might start doing that. It might teach them a lesson ;)

Wow. Mine aren't loose at all. If anything, I'd say they are a bit snug. Maybe putting a little pad in the back would help?

Too bad I missed you this morning. Hope you have a happy Easter, and I'll talk to you Sunday.

Love,

D

I have two pairs of Revas, the trick is you have to buy them a size smaller because they are made huge!

I should have stock in heel grips because I buy a package with every pair! They're made by Dr. Scholl, called Dr. Scholl Suede Heel Grips.

I have very narrow feet and even narrower heels so this is an ongoing problem! Now I don't sweat it and just buy the heel grips!

Good Luck!
